My site looks fine, does speed really matter that much?
Yes, more than most business owners realize. Google uses Core Web Vitals as a direct ranking signal, so two sites with identical content will rank differently based on speed. Research also shows a one-second delay in load time reduces conversions by roughly 7%.
What is a good PageSpeed score?
Google scores 90 to 100 as good, 50 to 89 as needs improvement, and 0 to 49 as poor. Our target for every site is 90 or higher on both desktop and mobile. Most sites we audit start in the 30 to 60 range on mobile, and land in the 85 to 98 range after our fixes.
Can you speed up a WordPress site?
We primarily build hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sites, which have a performance ceiling WordPress can't match because it runs server-side PHP with a plugin ecosystem. We can still audit your WordPress site, identify the biggest drags, and recommend fixes or a rebuild.
Will this affect how my site looks?
No. Speed optimization is invisible to visitors, it only changes how quickly the same content arrives. Images look identical, deferred scripts still load and run, and minified CSS produces the same visual result. Your site looks exactly the same, just faster.
