We collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

Contact form submissions, name, email address, phone number, business name, and project details you enter when reaching out.
Email correspondence, any information you share when emailing us directly.

We also automatically collect limited technical data when you visit our site, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages, through Google Analytics (see Section 5).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Respond to your inquiries and send you a project proposal
Schedule and conduct discovery calls
Send project updates and invoices related to work you've hired us for
Improve our website and services based on usage data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How We Store Your Information

Contact form and discovery questionnaire submissions are stored securely through our form processor (Netlify Forms). Email correspondence is stored within our business email system. We retain client information for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations.

We take reasonable technical precautions to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as pages visited, time on site, and general geographic location. It does not collect personally identifiable information.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Cookies

Our website may use cookies for analytics purposes (Google Analytics). We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct inaccurate information
Ask us to delete your information (subject to our legal obligations)
Opt out of any future marketing communications

8. Software We Build for Clients and Connected Accounts

Beyond this website, we build custom software applications for our clients (for example, an operations dashboard for a home services company). When a client chooses to connect one of those applications to a third-party service they already use, such as QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365 (Outlook), ServiceTitan, or a business texting service, the following applies:

The client owns the data. Business records read from a connected account (invoices, payments, jobs, email in a chosen mailbox, and similar) belong to the client and are used only to operate the application the client hired us to build. We do not sell, rent, or share that data, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
Least access. Each connection asks only for the permissions the feature needs, read-only wherever possible, and never for payroll, banking, or payment processing access unless a client explicitly commissions such a feature.
How it is stored. Connection credentials (access tokens) are stored encrypted in the application's database and are never shown to us or to the client in the application. Client business data lives in the application's own secure database, hosted on managed infrastructure (currently Supabase and Netlify) in the United States.
Client control. An authorized client user can disconnect any connected account at any time from inside the application or from the third-party service's own settings, which immediately stops further access. When an engagement ends, the client may request a full export of their data, and we delete it from our systems.
Artificial intelligence. Some applications use AI models (from Anthropic) to read documents the client uploads, such as purchase orders or supplier invoices, and draft records for a person to review. Content sent to those models is used only to produce that draft; it is not used by us to train models.

Each client's specific service agreement governs the details of their engagement, and where that agreement is more protective than this policy, the agreement controls.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
