Is WordPress Bad for SEO? What Actually Slows Sites Down

WordPress itself is not bad for SEO. The core software can produce a fast, well-structured site. What actually hurts SEO on most WordPress sites is what gets installed on top of it: heavy themes, a stack of plugins (SEO plugin, page builder plugin, form plugin, cache plugin, security plugin), and cheap shared hosting. Largely, yes.
